The rural, hillside location, makes for wonderful, 360° panoramic views of the surrounding countryside, laden with almond, olive and carob trees, and the unique Eastern Algarve coastline, incorporating the beautiful, Ria Formosa natural park.
The villa is approximately 17km from Faro airport and the nearest beach, Praia da Fuseta Ria is 13km away, where you will find some lovely typical Portuguese restaurants and cafes. 5km west is the village of Estoi, with several local restaurants, some small supermarkets and shops and a church. Estoi is well known for its nearby Roman ruins of Milreu and stunning pink Palace and romantic gardens which now houses a small hotel. The coastal town of Olhao, with its fabulous fish market and ferry boats to take you to the barrier islands within the Ria Formosa, Armona, Culatra and Farol, is 8km away. Easy access to Faro, Loule and Vilamoura is via the A22 which is easily reached from the villa.
