Old course - 18 hole|Par 73|6,254m

The Old Course, often described as the Grande Dame of Algarve courses, was originally designed by Architect, Frank Pennink and founded in 1969.

In 1996, 27 years later, the course was redesigned by Martin Hawtree, who completely renovated and modernised the course, raising it to new heights of quality, with little change to the original layout, which is reminiscent of a classic British parkland course.

Being one of the oldest in the region and admired worldwide, this traditional Par 73 18-hole course with complimentary, elegant clubhouse, has a serene atmosphere and is always in demand.

The rolling fairways and minor steep slopes meander throughout dense clusters of umbrella pine trees, possibly its main hazard, with a wonderful variety of holes requiring careful thought and a "straight" ball.
