Ferragudo is a picturesque fishing village located on a hillside at the mouth of the River Arade. There is always plenty of activity on the estuary, with boats travelling to and from the marina of the nearby town of Portimao. The village, with its traditional whitewashed houses, offers an authentic feel of the unspoiled Algarve. Ferragudo also boasts stunning beaches, with Praia Grande being the largest, adjacent to the smaller Praia de Angrinha, where you can find the historic lookout tower, Castelo de São João de Arade, dating back to the 15th century.

Benagil is a small fishing village on the southern coast of the Algarve which has gained fame in recent years famous for the incredible sea cave located just around the corner from the beach.
