Benagil is a quiet little village, with whitewashed houses, and a handful of restaurants, perched on top of the cliffs which form part of the scenic, seven hanging valleys walking trail, in Lagoa.
You will find a larger selection of restaurants, shops, and supermarkets in the nearby town of Lagoa, and coastal resort of Carvoeiro, both approx. 5.5km drive from the property.
Located just across the bay from the Benagil cave, this stunning 3-bedroom property provides a high standard of accommodation to up to 6 people.
The accommodation is built over two levels and has the benefit of air conditioning and Wi-Fi throughout. A google nest hub is provided. Parking for one vehicle is provided on the private parking area of the property secured with electric entrance gate. Additional free parking spaces are available on the road outside the villa.
As you enter the villa through impressive wooden double doors, you are welcomed into the entrance hall with a feature domed ceiling.
Living accommodation
The main living part of the house is open plan with a couple of steps between the kitchen and dining area and the lounge space. The room is flooded with natural light and has been designed to make the most of the amazing views, through multiple sets of sliding and bifold doors and windows, creating a seamless transition between the inside and outside space.
The lounge area, with wood burning fireplace, is furnished comfortably with an L shaped sofa and two armchairs. The large TV has many English-speaking channels. Bifold doors, framing the stunning view, open to a covered terrace with steps down to the pool and garden.
The spacious dining area with large table and 8 chairs sits adjacent to the modern, fully equipped kitchen. Fitted with an American style fridge freezer, wine fridge, electric oven, microwave, 5 ring gas hob, dishwasher, blender, and for coffee lovers, a selection of espresso coffee machines. All the crockery and utensils you would expect from a luxury self-catering villa are provided. A European style laundry hides the washing machine and tumble dryer.
Bifold windows open to connect the kitchen to the outside bar area with stools, gas barbecue and outside dining a lounge spaces.
Sleeping accommodation
All three bedrooms are situated on the first floor.
All three rooms have the addition of a sofa beds or similar that may accommodate 1/2 children in the same room as their parents if preferred.
Bedroom one has a king-size bed and private terrace with table and chairs to sit and enjoy the elevated views down to Benagil beach. The unique en suite bathroom is like a private retreat, where you can relax in the circular bathtub, next to a large picture window framing the most perfect view. There is an overhead shower above the bath and twin sinks.
Bedroom two has a king-size bed and private terrace, furnished with two sunbeds, perfectly positioned to appreciate those amazing ocean views. The en suite bathroom has a bathtub, a separate shower cubicle and twin sinks.
Bedroom three has a king-size bed and private terrace overlooking the front and side of the property, with views to the ocean. The en suite bathroom has a bath and separate shower cubicle.
Outside space
This property is all about the views, and as such, the outside space has been as well designed as the inside space to maximise on its highly desirable, ocean front location. The covered terrace wrapping around the rear of the house and the lower pool area are separated with 8 steps. The irregular shaped swimming pool, measuring approximately 9 x 5 meters, and pool side jacuzzi have the option of being heated (supplement applies). Comfortable sun loungers and relaxing hammock chairs are provided as well as a solar shower. The upper, covered terrace has an area furnished with comfortable lounge seating and there is a lovely outside dining area for those many Al Fresco meals you will undoubtably be having. How about an early breakfast with freshly squeezed, Algarve orange juice, as you watch the sun rise over the cliffs, or a sunset dinner, possibly washed down with a glass of wonderful Portuguese wine, while watching the glow the sun reflects on the cliffs as it disappears.
The beach is 800 Metres away by road and behind the house is a shortcut via steps that lead behind Benagil Beach Club. This is a few minutes walk and there are a few steps to navigate.

What is Included in the Holiday Price
Pool heating is available at a supplement of £350 per week
PLEASE NOTE: In April 2024, the council of Lagoa, introduced a tourist tax that is to be paid by all visitors, aged 13 years and older, staying in paid tourist accommodation within the district. The tax of 1-2 Euros per person is applied for a maximum of 7 nights. Low Season - between November 1st and March 31st - 1€ per night. High Season - between April 1st and October 31st - 2€ per night. The owner of this property (RVA1270|Benagil) covers the cost of the tourist tax for all guests.
How to Book your Holiday
A 25% deposit payment of the holiday price is required in order to secure your booking. We will then send you a booking confirmation and request your full details and travel details.
The balance payment plus refundable damage deposit is due ten weeks prior to travel. You will receive a reminder by email.
When we have received the balance payment we will send you the directions to the property and arrival instructions.
